HOW TO CULTIVATE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

.Most Christians can name them. Very few of them understand what they're actually asking God to do.

The fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control — is one of the most quoted lists in all of Scripture. It's on coffee mugs and nursery walls. It's memorized by children in Sunday school. And yet, for all its familiarity, most believers have never been taught what these nine qualities actually mean, where they come from, or why Paul chose the word fruit and not gifts, disciplines, or goals. That difference is everything. In this video, we go through every single fruit of the Spirit one by one — not as a checklist to perform, but as a portrait of a life being genuinely transformed from the inside out. Because the fruit of the Spirit was never meant to be something you manufacture. It's something that grows. And understanding the difference between those two things changes how you approach your entire walk with God. Here's what most people miss: Paul wrote Galatians 5 to a community in crisis — people being told they had to earn their standing with God through religious performance. The fruit of the Spirit was his answer to that lie. It wasn't a new set of rules. It was a picture of what a free person looks like.
In this video, we cover: ✦ Why Paul uses the word "fruit" — and what that metaphor demands of us ✦ The original Greek meaning behind each of the nine qualities ✦ Why love comes first — and why it isn't what culture says it is ✦ The difference between happiness and the joy Paul describes ✦ What biblical peace means beyond the absence of conflict ✦ Why patience, kindness, and goodness are far more radical than they sound ✦ What faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control look like against the flesh ✦ Practical, honest ways to live each fruit out in your daily life

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

You were given something specific when the Holy Spirit came to live in you. Most Christians have no idea what it is.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are one of the most discussed and most misunderstood topics in all of Christian theology. Some churches talk about them constantly — and get them wrong. Others avoid them entirely — and leave their congregations spiritually unequipped. Most believers sit somewhere in the middle: vaguely aware they're supposed to have a gift, quietly unsure what it is, and never quite confident enough to act on it. This video is here to change that.

We're going through every gift of the Holy Spirit — from the lists in Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, and Ephesians 4 — one by one. Not as abstract theology. Not as a debate about which gifts are still active today. But as a genuine, grounded exploration of what these gifts are, what they're for, and how you can begin to recognize which one — or ones — God has placed in you.

Here's what most people miss: the gifts of the Spirit were never meant to be a personality quiz or a spiritual status symbol. Paul's entire argument in 1 Corinthians 12 is that the gifts only make sense in the context of the body — that every gift exists to serve others, not to elevate the one who carries it. Understanding that reframes everything.

In this video, we cover: ✦ The three biblical gift lists — and why they're different from each other ✦ Every spiritual gift explained individually — meaning, purpose, and expression ✦ The difference between gifts of the Spirit, fruit of the Spirit, and the office gifts ✦ Why the gifts debate between cessationists and continuationists matters — and where it can lead you astray ✦ Practical signs that point toward your specific gift ✦ Why discovering your gift isn't about you — and why that's actually liberating ✦ How to begin operating in your gift even before you're fully certain what it is Whether you're a new believer trying to understand how the Holy Spirit works in your life, or someone who's been in church for years and never felt fully equipped — this is the video that brings it all together.

If this kind of deep, honest, Bible-rooted teaching is what you've been looking for — subscribe. Every week we go beneath the surface of Scripture to find what's been hiding in plain sight.
