Kristi Burke's past religious life
Kristi Burke's Religious Trauma eventually led her to become an Atheist. The following is an excerpt from her blog April 26, 2021:
TEN YEARS EARLIER
I was slumped in shock in the living room of my home. Twelve familiar faces were circling around me, intervention style. Their eyes were burning through me—Bibles at their sides, with hands clinging to tissues. I was nineteen at the time, but I was still a child to them. These faces were heavy with disappointment, and they were taking turns letting me know just that.
They were there to bring me back to god. They believed that he had given them the authority to do just that. They felt that because I was partying on the weekends, exploring my sexuality, and questioning my faith, I was being pulled under Satan's evil grip. Each one took a self-righteous moment to let the judgment and shame roll off their tongues, spilling out and spreading around me like toxic sludge.
This was when they revealed that they had been watching my every move for quite some time. They had been illegally tracking my digital activity and communications. They installed a key logger program on my computer and phone that gave them full access to my life, even the most secret and private moments. They printed what they considered to be the worst of it, gripping to a stack in their laps as they shamed me for what was inside them. I had never felt such a deep violation of privacy before that moment. I felt humiliated and small and confused.
As the night progressed and they didn't get the response they hoped for, I was physically detained and prayed over, accused of things I didn't do, held against my will, and even threatened by a grown man with a closed fist. They took my computer and car keys, and an attempt was made to conceal my phone; they didn't want to give me the opportunity to call someone to pick me up. There was a moment that night when I felt so terrified that I fell to the floor and felt that familiar weakening feeling: racing heart, numb face, tight lungs, a panic-induced asthma attack. I was given an inhaler, but not before furious purple faces hurled their rage, accusing me of faking it entirely. Thankfully, within a few hours, I managed to get the hell out.
Continuing with her article Mrs. Burke makes the following recommendations to her viewers( there are several but I just selected this one in order to expose the dark side of her persona):
#5) Find your identity. Discover what makes you happy, especially if the church forbade it. Watch dirty movies, read raunchy books, date around, do shrooms in the forest, rock some heavy cleavage- whatever makes you happy and allows your freak flag to fly high (please do this responsibly. And legally *wink*)

"Committing sacrilege in speech, art, or any other outlet, is a way of empowering ourselves and showing our abuser, the church, that we are no longer afraid. We've let go of the shame and the guilt we never deserved to have in the first place. We let go of the need to be accepted by a community of people that require subservience over genuineness. We live with the scars and the trauma but still we overcome. We fight for our existence, our truth and our power. We create art which destroys the fears that once kept us bound. We express ourselves in ways that help us process and heal from our trauma, but also inadvertently offends those who've yet to break their own chains- because fear still clouds their eyes. We show them what it looks like to live fearlessly and proud, and hope that it might one day inspire them to break away and do the same. We just want to heal and live our truth the best way we know how. We can play with our fears because they no longer rule us. We can give lap dances to Satan and sell sneakers with pentagrams and create a mockery of everything that wanted to suppress us because that is the ultimate way to gain back what they stole and reclaim our lives. To show them that they no longer rule us."

Christianophobia is on the rise like never before especially in platforms like social media. Christianophobia refers to the state of being hateful or spiteful against Christians, Christianity, and God. A Christianophobe hates or despises Christians and/or what they stand for. Many Christians on Tik Tok have filed multiple complaints against Ms. Burke for Hate Speech/Christianophobia. According to a recent video she posted on Tik Tok, her account is being reviewed for possible termination. If so she has stated she plans to come to You Tube in order to continue her Anti-Christian diatribe. She professes to be an Atheist. The statements on her video above is a gross contradiction. Because Atheist DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD. Yet she unwittingly acknowledges God's very existence by using him as a scapegoat. Closely linked to the disillusioned are those who call themselves “atheists” when, in fact, they are anti-God. Atheist is a label some hide behind to mask a deep hatred toward God. Often due to childhood trauma or abuse in the name of religion/ Church, these people are consumed by an antipathy toward all things religious. The only way they can retaliate against a God they consider cruel is to deny Him vehemently. Events of the past have left wounds so deep that it is easier to deny the reality of God than admit that they hate Him. True atheists would not include this group in their numbers, as they recognize that to be angry with God is to acknowledge His existence. But many people do, in fact, call themselves atheists while simultaneously expressing outrage toward a God whose existence they deny.
Dear reader: Kristi Burke to the best of my knowledge has no professional degrees or formal training from a theological seminary. She is simply an ARTIST who likes to draw pictures. She defected from Christianity because she was caught living habitually in sin by church officials who were keeping track of her sinful life style as a teenager. Instead of repenting and asking God for forgiveness, she turned against God and became an ATHEIST WHILE TAKING THE HIGHWAY TO HELL. SHE MADE THAT DECISION WITH HER OWN FREE WILL! GOD NEVER FORCED HER TO MAKE THAT CHOICE. Many of the videos and comments which she makes like the one above, takes scripture out of context. This is known as EISEGESIS and by employing this method of interpreting scripture, you can make it mean whatever you want it to mean by injecting your own personal BIASES. ALWAYS REMEMBER: SCRIPTURE ALWAYS INTERPRETS SCRIPTURE WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE SACRED TEXT!
Some final thoughts:
Young Lady it's unfortunate you took a wrong detour in your life. I too am a victim of religious abuse. But I chose instead to remain faithful to my Redeemer regardless of what hardships I had to endure. Because in the end God makes all things work together for our good; for those who truly love him Romans 8:28. Take it for what it's worth or you can discard what I said. The choice is yours. But I will follow the Biblical mandate to contend for the faith Jude 1:3. You still have time. But God will not wait forever for you to make up your mind. We all have an EXPIRATION DATE STAMPED WITHIN OUR BODIES. Then judgement day will inevitably come for all of us. Then he will demand for us to account for our lives. At which point each person will receive from God eternal rewards or eternal consequences for their transgressions for abusing God's eternal love and mercy. Is that what you want Kristi?. "And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment" Hebrews 9:27.
WHATEVER A PERSON, WHETHER A SATANIST, AGNOSTIC OR ATHEIST DECIDES TO BELIEVE IS STRICTLY THEIR OWN PROBLEM. IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING TO WHAT TRUE BELIEVERS IN GOD STAND FOR. ULTIMATELY THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL ONE DAY STAND BEFORE THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT OF GOD TO ACCOUNT FOR THEIR LIVES.
