UNDERSTANDING THE WRATH OF A HOLY GOD

February 9, 2019

The Wrath of God Is Revealed From Heaven (1)

By Mike Willis

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness (Rom. 1:18).

We frequently hear sermons that emphasize the love and mercy of God, but today rarely do we hear anything about God's wrath. Modem denominationalism has either totally eliminated the doctrine of hell from its theology or hidden it in some remote corner. Several books, including one by Edward Fudge (The Fire That Consumes), have been published in recent years that take the position that the punishment of hell is annihilation, not endless torment. In a recent ad in the church news section of our local paper, a denomination advertised that it did not preach sermons on hell fire and brimstone. These things point us to the sad truth that some men want to hear nothing about the wrath of God. Nevertheless, Paul spoke about the wrath of God being revealed from heaven and we need to study what he says about it.

The Wrath of God

The Scriptures repeatedly speak about the wrath of God in such passages as the following:

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him (John 3:36).

For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience (Col. 3:6).

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb (Rev. 14:10).

And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God (Rev. 14:19).

See also Revelation 15:1,7;16:1 or consult any concordance and look under entries about the wrath of God. We cannot faithfully proclaim the totality of God's revelation without speaking about his wrath.

God's Wrath Is Revealed

Not only does the Bible teach that wrath is a part of God's nature, it also tells us that God's wrath has been revealed from heaven against ungodliness and unrighteousness in men. Here are a number of ways that it has been revealed:

1. In the doctrine of Hell. The Lord Jesus spoke more about hell than any other person in the New Testament. He told us about a place of eternal torment (see Luke 16:19-31; Mark 9:43-48). Hell is a place of the righteous retribution of divine justice against wickedness (Rom. 2:8-9; 2 Thess. 1:7-9). It is a place of everlasting separation from the presence of God (see Luke 16:19-31). Surely, we can see the wrath of God revealed from heaven in the Bible doctrine of Hell.

2. In God's moral government of the world. The Bible records the Lord's dealing with men through the centuries. The basis of his moral government of the world is concisely stated in Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov. 14:34). The prophet Jeremiah expressed it more completely in the following passage:

At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; if that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; if it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them (Jer. 18:7-10).

The execution of God's moral government of the world is witnessed in the flood (Gen. 6-8), the destruction of the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen. 18-19), the sending of Israel into Assyrian captivity (2 Kings 17:13-18) and Judah into Babylonian captivity, and the destruction of Jerusalem at the hand of the Romans in A.D. 70 (Matt. 21:33-43). All of these examples of God's destruction of cities and nations display God's wrath against the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.

3. In the consequences and temporal results of sin. God's wrath against the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men is also seen in sin's consequences. In the context of Romans 1, God's wrath is specifically shown in his "giving them up" (Rom. 1:24,28). In these verses, the Lord's "giving them up" was an abandonment of man to follow his sin to its ultimate conclusion to receive the pain and suffering that sin produces. This age old principle is witnessed in the Proverbs "the way of transgressors is hard" (13:15). God manifested his wrath toward ungodliness and unrighteousness by hedging in the way of sin with thorns and thistles.

Conclusion

We do men a grave injustice when we so emphasize the love and mercy of God that we neglect to preach about the wrath of God. Just as certainly as the Bible reveals the gospel of Jesus Christ, it also reveals the wrath of God.

DO NOT SEEK A POLITICAL SAVIOR BY PUTTING YOUR POLITICS BEFORE YOUR FAITH

If Obama was Not the Political Savior, Neither is Trump By Dr. Michael L. Brown

May 31, 2016

Eight years ago, massive crowds gathered to hear Barack Obama’s stirring message of hope and change. This young senator was not just a rising star, he was a superstar, and even overseas, crowds thronged to hear him.
Eight years later, rather than hope and change there is widespread pessimism and disgust, and the dramatic changes that have occurred under the Obama administration are, for the most part, negative and even destructive.
Now, a new star has risen, a quite unlikely one at that. The crowds are also thronging to hear him, and his followers are convinced that this man, their man, Donald Trump, will single-handedly make America great again. The political system is corrupt, say his loyal supporters, and America has become a shell of what she used to be, both nationally and internationally.
Donald Trump will save the day. Donald Trump knows how to get it done. Donald Trump will not back down. Donald Trump is the alpha male we need. Some even claim that God Himself has raised up Donald Trump for such a time as this.
Others firmly believe that Bernie Sanders is the man. We need nothing less than a revolution, they say, and he is the man to lead it! Bernie Sanders is also drawing crowds, and his supporters are equally passionate and devoted.
From a personal perspective, whoever our next president is, I will pray that he (or she) will be the greatest president we have ever had, just as I have prayed for Barack Obama (with evident disappointment).
And although I could not vote for Bernie or Hillary because of their militantly pro-abortion and pro-LGBT activist views, and although I have grave concerns about a Trump presidency, assuming that one of them will be our next president, that person will be my president. I will honor their authority, do my best to be of help in realizing our national goals, and speak out when I feel they are seriously wrong.
All that being said, my great concern is that we make the mistake of putting our trust in a political leader.
As one who endorsed Sen. Cruz and felt that he could have helped lead America in a righteous revolution, I constantly reminded myself, “Ted Cruz is not the answer. Only Jesus is the answer.” All the more do I say that when it comes to Trump or Bernie or Hillary.
Five years ago, in 2011, I wrote an article entitled “Don’t Put Your Trust in a Political Savior,” warning Americans of the danger of looking to a political leader to save the day.
One year later, as we approached the 2012 elections, I wrote these words: “If the elections were held today, I would vote for Mitt Romney rather than sit out the elections or cast a protest vote for a third party candidate. But I would do so with extremely limited hopes, and my very act of voting in November would be a reminder to me that I cannot expect the radical changes America needs to come from the White House.”
Today, when the crises surrounding us seem all the more intensified and when the world around us seems all the more unstable, it is all the more imperative that we do not put our trust in a man (or woman), exalting that person into quasi-divine status, looking to him or her as some kind of heroic deliverer.
Without a doubt, a good president can do much good and a bad president can do much damage, but there is only so much one individual can do — even the president of the United States — and we set ourselves up for failure and disappointment when we look to a human being as if that human being were some kind of super-being.
But that is what some people are doing.
In his victory speech in Bismarck, North Dakota, Trump said to his jubilant supporters, “Politicians have used you and stolen your votes. They have given you nothing. I will give you everything. I will give you what you’ve been looking for for 50 years. I’m the only one.”
Unfortunately, many of his supporters believe this, leading Brandon Morse to say on Redstate.com, “This Feels Less Like An Election and More Like the Establishment Of Religion.”
Let the voter beware.
Writing for The Federalist on May 28th, M. G. Oprea penned an insightful article entitled, “What The Arab Spring Can Teach Us About America’s Populist Revolution.” The subtitle read, “‘A Rage For Order’ chronicles the dangers of political strongmen and popular revolts. Should Americans nervously eyeing Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders be asking if it can happen here?”
After summarizing what happened in the Arab world, where, in several countries, the Arab Spring became the Sharia Fall, she gave this word of warning: “It’s easy to look down on the people in these countries for their naïveté in believing that a single man could provide all the answers and being so easily carried from one extreme to the other. But, it would be unwise to throw the first stone at a time when this is truer in America than many of us are comfortable admitting.”
And, she added, “whenever a party, or a people, put their hopes in one man, the promises of democracy begin to fade into the background.”
We have lived through 8 years of political demagoguery and executive orders, and we surely do not need four (or, worse still, 8) more years of the same. And while we do our best to advocate for the candidate whom we feel is best suited to lead our nation, and while we may have very strong feelings about who that candidate is, the warning remains the same: By all means, work for and with the best candidate, but do not put your trust in a political savior.
Only Jesus is the Savior. Everyone else serves, for better or for worse.  Last but not least, do not put your absolute trust in any man or woman especially politicians.  Our absolute trust should be in GOD ALONE!

 Jeremiah 17:5-8 Living Bible (TLB)
The Lord says: Cursed is the man who puts his trust in mortal man and turns his heart away from God. He is like a stunted shrub in the desert, with no hope for the future; he lives on the salt-encrusted plains in the barren wilderness; good times pass him by forever.
But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and has made the Lord his hope and confidence. He is like a tree planted along a riverbank, with its roots reaching deep into the water—a tree not bothered by the heat nor worried by long months of drought. Its leaves stay green, and it goes right on producing all its luscious fruit.

GOD'S SOVEREIGN WILL OVER U.S. GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

The Sovereignty of God’s Providence

The Sovereignty of God's Providence

by Jerry Bridges /
Read all the posts published to date in this 9-part series on God’s Providence from Cruciform’s good friend, the late Jerry Bridges. This was a teaching Jerry was presenting in the months leading up to his fatal heart attack in March, 2016.

GOD’S PROVIDENCE, PART FOUR OF NINE

So far in this series we have defined God’s providence, distinguished it from miracles, and offered reasons why it can seem so mysterious. Now we will take a look at sovereignty as it pertains to our personal and collective plans.
The sovereignty of God means that He is in absolute control of every event and circumstance in His creation. As the Psalmist put it, “Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases” (Psalm 115:3). Whether person, family, tribe, or nation, God alone ultimately determines whether we will accomplish what we have planned. For a brief but powerful description of this, see James 4:13-16.

Centuries ago, Augustine said, “Nothing, therefore, happens unless the Omnipotent wills it to happen; he either permits it to happen, or He brings it about himself.” This means that nothing in your life is so small or trivial as to escape the attention of His sovereign control; and nothing is so great as to be beyond His power to control it.

In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus taught that there is no detail in His creation that is beyond God’s control. Even the little sparrow cannot fall to the ground apart from His will. Jesus spoke these words in the context of expecting persecution. Thus, even when a believer suffers the injustice of religious persecution, God is still in sovereign control of his or her life.

Think of the major political and military issues of our day, including the atrocities committed by the terrorist organization known as ISIS, and the danger of a nuclear warhead from Iran or North Korea. Even these are completely under God’s sovereign control.

Nebuchadnezzar was the most powerful monarch in history up to his time. After being insane for seven years he was finally able to clearly learn this about the sovereignty of God: “All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, what have you done?” (Daniel 4:35)

In 1279, the Mongol empire established by Genghis Khan was the largest contiguous empire in the history of the world. It included modern day Mongolia, China, Russia, and much of central Asia and Eastern Europe. It covered more than 12 million square miles and contained 25 percent of the world’s population. So why is present-day Mongolia less than 8 percent of its previous size? The empire was the origin point of the bubonic plague, known as the Black Death. Fleas that traveled on rats transmitted the disease, eventually killing one-third of the entire human population. With the Mongol empire already suffering internal divisions, the chaos created by the plague made political control impossible, and the empire collapsed.
Was God sovereign over the fleas? Yes. The rats? Yes. The plague? Yes. And the empire? Yes. From the tiniest to the greatest, God’s sovereignty extends over all.

This has been Part 4 of a 9-part series on God’s providence from Jerry Bridges.

Jerry BridgesJerry Bridges (1929-2016) was the author of Who Am I? — Identity in Christ, as well as numerous other books, including The Pursuit of Holiness (which has sold more than 1.4 million copies), and the award-winning The Discipline of Grace and I Will Follow You, O God. He maintained an international speaking ministry and, from 1955 until his death, served in a variety of capacities with the Navigators.

HOW TO OVERCOME SEXUAL TEMPTATION

Just Say No
Infidelity is a big cause for divorce in the United States. The causes for infidelity are varied and not just confined to sexual lust, but certainly lust is the starting point in most cases that later lead to adulterous sex.
This is the great conundrum of life for many men. Our DNA is pre-loaded with the strong instinct to feel attraction and desire, yet life and morality demand that we are able to control those instincts in proper balance. So how do we do that?
For the sake of our marriages, relationships or just spiritual well-being, we need to be able to find the answer. You are in a battle against sexual lust. Here is how you win:

1. Consistent prayer. Prayer is the act of communicating your thoughts, worries, hopes and dreams to God. Lift up the desires you are feeling and ask for help. God made you and knows you and can deliver you time and time again. Here are 10 Things to Pray for in Your Marriage.

2. Avoid pornography. Besides the obvious reason—that avoiding porn will help guard against lust—there are psychological reasons as well. Porn creates unrealistic expectations and desensitizes our minds toward our spouses. They can’t possibly live up to what is viewed, and would we even want them to? This pushes the focus of your sexual desires outside of the home and can only lead to paths of
destruction. Here are 10 Ways to Fight Pornography.

3. Use social media with caution. The benefits of the age of social networks are many. The pitfalls are equally as great. We are reunited with people from our past and introduced to those who are new. Old sparks can be renewed or new ones can be lit. For a married man, this can be extremely perilous. Always remain alert to true intentions when using social media. Here are 10 Marital Principles for Social Media.

4. Consider the consequences. Fear is a great protector. While pondering the object of your desire, also ponder the consequences of action. Do you want to wind up in couples therapy? Could your lust lead to an STD or even an addiction? If you think of these things while your desires are at their peak, you will find them quickly receding to normal levels.

5. Question your intent. Most times when our minds wander sexually, we aren’t really seeking pure sex. We are seeking to replace something missing in our lives and our relationships. For each man, these things will be specific to his experiences. Figure out the root issue and work to correct it.

6. Practice sexual intimacy. Do you remember falling in love and the feeling that nobody in the world existed except the person you loved? The reason for that is the high level of intimacy that was shared while you were getting to know each other. While there is no reset button to start the marital relationship over, there are certainly plenty of ways to regain that level of intimacy. Improving communication, date nights, passionate kissing and thoughtful gestures are just a few examples. When our minds and hearts are occupied in the right place, sexual lust has little room to operate.

7. Avoid tempting situations. The last thing you want to do is find yourself alone with the object of your lustful desires. If contact with that person is a must, then make sure it is always in a public space and others are around. Do not paint yourself into a corner where further action is possible.

8. Choose your friends wisely. When battling lust, there are plenty of people we can find who will enable that to grow even more powerful. As men, we all have friends who are single and living that lifestyle, who are married but cheating, or who are just drawn to trouble. You can still be their friend, but by all means avoid joining them in their choices.

9. Keep high standards. To be a gentleman is a choice—a very good choice, and this world today needs a great many more. Despite the vast amount of temptations life throws our way, we should hold ourselves to the highest of moral standards. Self-discipline in all areas of life leads to positive results.

10. Harness your passion. In most cases, overwhelming sexual lust is really just a desire to release the deep passion inside of you that has nothing to do with sex. Instead, direct that passion in positive directions. Volunteer at a homeless shelter. Coach a youth sports team. Mentor troubled individuals. The satisfaction that comes from building and creating will defeat the destruction that comes from succumbing to the path of sexual lust and desire.

BETWEEN THE NEW YEARS

" OUR LORD AND OUR GOD. WE REJOICE IN YOU. WITHOUT YOUR HELP WE COULD NOT FACE UNAFRAID THE YEAR 2019 BEFORE US".

Thus says the Lord Jesus of Nazareth: I stand between the years. The Light of My Presence is flung across the year to come-the radiance of the Sun of Righteousness. Backward, over the past year, is my shadow thrown, hiding trouble and sorrow and disappointment.

Dwell not on the past-only on the present. Only use the past as the trees use my Sunlight to absorb it, to make from it in after days the warming fire rays. So store only the blessings from me, Jesus the True Light of the World. Encourage yourselves by the thought of these.

Bury every fear  of the future, of poverty for those dear to you, of suffering, of loss. Bury all thoughts of unkindness, and bitterness, all your dislikes,  your resentments, your sense of failure, your disappointments in others and in yourselves, your gloom, your despondency, and let us leave them all behind and buried, and go forward to a new and risen life.

Remember you must not see as the world sees. I hold the year 2019 in my hands-in trust for you. But I shall guide you only one day at a time. Leave the rest with me. You  must not anticipate the gift by fears or thoughts of the days that lie ahead.  And for each day I shall supply the wisdom and the strength you need to forge ahead.

SPIRITUAL TRUTHS FOR OVERCOMING ADVERSITY IN 2019 (HAPPY NEW YEAR)

Overcoming Adversity and Spiritual Opposition

Overcoming Adversity and Spiritual OppositionOvercoming adversity it is part of the Christian lifestyle.  We have all faced it. It’s a time of hardship, affliction, recession, depression and otherwise unfortunate circumstances. If you are like me, you probably thought adversity would never come nigh your dwelling after you sold out to Jesus.
Wow, was I ever wrong! In the beginning of my Christian walk, it seemed the more I obeyed God the more adversity came my way. I quickly discovered that I didn't like adversity. I still don't. I like peace. Like a severe storm, you can almost sense adversity coming…the calm before the storm. When the storm of adversity comes, it demands your total attention.

ADVERSITY DEFINITIONS
Adversity visits us all from time to time - and in many different ways. It can come disguised as marriage trouble, sickness, financial calamity, hardship from personal attacks, or even difficulty in the workplace. Adversity is no respecter of persons. All of us will face it. The question is how we will respond to it.

There is a telling Scripture in the Word of God that reveals, "If thou faint in the day of adversity thy strength is small" (Proverbs 24:10). In this context, fainting doesn't mean to literally lose consciousness; rather it means to withdraw, let go, or to show yourself slack.

When adversity hits, most people have a tendency to look for a way of escape. The Lord is very specific in this verse. He makes it clear withdrawing from adversity is not the way to go. He also makes clear if we back off from times of trouble we lack spiritual strength.

I remember the first time I heard this Scripture preached. It was during a season when the winds of calamity were blowing full gale against me. All I wanted to do was find shelter and escape the raging tempests. When I discovered my response was because my spiritual strength was weak I had two reactions.

ADVERSITY FEELING LIKE WITHDRAWING
My first reaction was to complain, "But you don't understand how terrible my situation is!" Since adversity is so personal, many feel their situation is worse than anybody else. My second thought was, "If I feel like withdrawing from adversity then I must be weak in faith." This made me search the Scriptures for solutions on how to gain some much needed spiritual strength and fortitude.

FACING ADVERSITY
Throughout my life, I have found we haven't been properly trained to face adversity. Most just go to church to get blessed, not to prepared for trouble. Just because you love Jesus doesn't mean you are equipped to handle the battles of life. The good news is adversity can work for you. It can help you find the strength of the Holy Spirit. I want to help you as much as possible, too.

Since I don’t know exactly what your adversity is or what you might face in the future, let me offer some practical steps for victory in every circumstance:

Run to Jesus
Cast all your cares on Him
Encourage yourself
Submit to God and resist the devil
Let faith fight for you
Pray in tongues

WHEN ADVERSITY ATTACKS
When adversity attacks, the first thing you should do is run to Jesus. Don’t flake out, shut down, break rank, or isolate yourself from those who can help you. Run to Jesus. Remember Jesus is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Jesus will not let you down. You can trust Him to get you through this turbulence.

After you run to Jesus, check your heart. Go down your personal checklist and examine yourself. If you have sinned, repent. If you violated the Word in any way, repent. Running to Jesus, coupled with repentance, should always be your first reaction to adversity.

WEAPONS AGAINST ADVERSITY
Cast All Your Cares: The next weapon in our arsenal against adversity is casting all your cares on Jesus. This is not an escapist’s act. Casting all your cares on Jesus is a spiritual step toward freedom. Scripture says, “Cast all your care on Him for he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Casting your cares on Jesus requires giving your adversity to Him. There are some things you just have to put in Jesus’ capable hands.

Pray. Sometimes, however, one prayer session isn’t enough. Some adversity has several dates booked on your calendar. In my case, one prayer didn’t take all the problems away. There was a time when I was really hurting and constant flashbacks came to remind me of my calamity. Some of it was real and some was just fearful imaginations. The only thing that helped was continuing to cast my situation on the Lord.

FEAR AND TEMPTATION DURING ADVERSITY
Every time fear tried to grip me I prayed, “I cast all my cares on you Lord because I know you care for me.” I said it in my heart over and over again until the burden lifted. Sure, fear and the temptation to run from my problems returned several times, but I would cast the cares back on the Lord again and again until finally my adversity hoisted up the white flag of surrender and withdrew from the battlefield.

Encourage Yourself: Encouragement is another powerful antidote against adversity. Have you ever heard a car engine knock because it was low on oil? Then after oil was added the engine hummed along smoothly? Our lives are the same. Many times we get so busy with the cares of this world and just getting by that we run low on oil. We stop putting the Word in our hearts and that only puts our lives in jeopardy.

With the Word of God written solidly on the tablets of your heart, you can encourage yourself. The Bible tells us that David encouraged himself in the Lord. The Psalms are full of David’s prayers for deliverance from oppressors. Weaved throughout all these prayers you can feel David’s plea for God’s help. The Lord helped him every time. David was called to be a king, yet adversity and opposition to his divine calling often surrounded him.

One of David’s greatest characteristics was that he never gave up. He refused to quit and run. In spite of adversity, David pressed into God. David did his part and let God do His part. You, too, can be like David. Don’t give up on yourself. Don’t disconnect from God and check out of the battle. Press into Jesus. God is on your side and He knows all the answers. Jesus does not fear what you fear.

OVERCOMING ADVERSITY
While overcoming adversity, avoid isolation. In times of difficulty, we can’t afford to isolate ourselves. We can’t afford to run from the battle. When adversity strikes we need to run to the battle. scripture declares, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind” (1 Timothy 1:7). David saw God as a Man of War. He saw God as his Great Deliverer. Many times David asked the Lord during prayer, “Shall I go up to battle?” And God responded, “Go up!”

Tribulation may pay us a visit, but the Word assures “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faint not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:28-31).

Submit and Resist: Scripture also admonishes, “Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he shall flee” (James 4:7). Notice this twin advice for freedom from adversity, “Submit to God.” That means that He becomes your Commander. You release your will to Him and let His Word govern you, your actions, your situation, and your entire life. You also release the outcome of the adversity to Him.

The second half of that Scripture assures, “Resist the devil and he will flee.” He didn’t say ignore the devil, hide from the devil, deny the devil’s existence or compromise with the devil. God said to resist him. You resist the devil just like Jesus did. When the devil attacked Jesus in the wilderness He said repeatedly, “Devil. It is written.” You can do the same.

Speak to your situation like this: “Adversity, it is written, no weapon formed against me can prosper. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Thank you, Jesus, that you renew my strength. I shall not grow weary. I shall not faint. I will overcome in Jesus’ name.” Find a scripture that deals with your situation, hold fast to it, and speak it over your life. This works. Go for it.

Let Faith Fight For You: Did you know that faith is one of the most powerful weapons against adversity you possess? Faith is the clothing of every warrior. Paul told his spiritual son Timothy, to endure hardship as a good soldier (2 Timothy 2:3). He wasn’t teaching him how to cope with adversity. He was teaching him to fight on through until he saw the victory. Let hope arise in you right now. Jesus won’t let you down. Submit yourself to Him and use your faith in Him to battle against your adversity. scripture promises, “This is the victory that has overcome the world, even your faith” (1 John 5:4). The word “overcome” in this Verse means “to carry off the victory.” When you use the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, that is exactly what will happen. Faith in God will bring you through adversity every time.

Pray in Tongues: Praying in tongues is vital. That’s right. Let your spirit talk with God. The Apostle Paul said, “If I pray in an unknown tongue my spirit prays” (1 Corinthians 14:14). He also said, “Forbid not to speak in other tongues” (1 Corinthians 14:39). The Word declares that we can strengthen ourselves by praying in the Spirit and that the Holy Spirit helps us pray the way we should. He literally helps us get freedom. If you want a fast track way to strengthening yourself, start by reading and meditating on the Word of God, and praying in tongues. Praying in tongues is not a “Pentecostal thing,” it is a Spirit-life key to victorious Christian living.

One more thing to help you overcome adversity – get back to church. God’s Word is very specific: don’t forsake the assembling of yourself together with other believers (Hebrews 4:9). Listen, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Isolation is not healthy. Find a good Bible-believing church where the power of changed lives is visible. Plug in and help that church fulfill its vision.

ADVERSITY ATTACKS ALL
Adversity attacks everybody, but with your love for Jesus and these simple truths you can overcome it every time. Remember this, God causes all things to work together for good to those that love him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). That’s you! With Christ in your life, you can make it through every sorrow, oppression, trouble, and adversity.

A PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL WARRIORS

Father in heaven, I thank you that you are with me and you will never leave me or forsake me, even to the end of the age. I repent of all my sins, of anything I've thought, said or done that has grieved your Spirit. If I've opened the door to the enemy, show me the door so I can shut it. If I've wronged anyone unknowingly, convict my heart so I can make it right in Jesus name.

I thank you that you always lead me into triumph in Christ Jesus. God, strengthen my inner spirit so I can sustain this spiritual warfare. Open my eyes and help me see what is coming against me so I can fight accurately in the spirit realm. Give me your battle plans,  your strategies and your tactics.  Father, help me avoid  presumption. Teach my arms to bend a bow of bronze, my hands to battle, and my fingers to war. Remind me that when people stand against me, that my battles are not just limited to flesh and blood. Help me move in the opposite spirit, to bless and not curse, to walk in love and forgiveness, and to pray for those who persecute me. Break in with light and help me fight these battles, because my battles are your battles. I'm merely your battle axe.

AMERICA'S FINAL SOLUTION FOR THE BLACK PLAGUE

fema camp map

"In a conference call, a Tampa, Florida chapter NBPP member says race war is long overdue with "these honkeys, these crackers, these pink people, these pigs." She also calls for the death George Zimmerman and says "I am for violence" and "and pissed off that the state of Florida is not on fire right now." She even went on to say that real black men "aren't scared to kill a cracker." "The New Black Panther Party will descend on New Iberia the next time Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office deputies use tear gas to break up a crowd, a party spokesman warned. Although the original Black Panther Party, called the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, was a controversial civil rights and self-defense organization active within the United States in the 1960s and 1970s, members of the original Black Panther Party do not recognize the new party," which was formed in Dallas in 1989. Did You Know That Government Documents Exists That Advocate Putting All Black Americans in Concentration Camps?

For years, there have been certain government documents floating around that suggested the mass interment of Black people in America. Documents such as the King Alfred Plan have  long been dismissed by government officials as works of fiction because it cannot be traced back to a specific author or origin.
But recently a new document was discovered.
A thesis written by President Ronald Reagan’s FEMA director Louis Giuffrada at the US Army War College in 1970, entitled “National Survival-Racial Imperative” goes into elaborate details about the logistics of rounding up Black Americans to be placed in concentration camps.
This document did not use code words or euphemisms like many recent comparative documents and policies today. The National Survival-Racial Imperative thesis was very specific about targeting Black Americans.
Here is an excerpt  for the thesis:

“In the past decade, the United States has had an epidemic of confrontations in which outbreaks of bitter racial violence have brought death and destruction and widened the gap between Negro and white. Inevitably, the rising tensions and mutual distrust have led to more violence and disruption.
For purposes of discussion let us assume that racial relations have degenerated to the point where armed militants embark on a massive violent attempt to immobilize the normal routine of a large city. The militants have occupied the city hall, taken over the mayor’s office, and are shooting at police attempting to oust them. An extremely militant Black Nationalist group has seized the main radio stations and has been calling on all sympathizers to arm themselves and “join the people’s revolution.”
As soon as the violence starts, there are similar, though not necessarily preplanned, outbreaks of violence in other cities across the entire nation. The level of violence has quickly exceeded the control capacity of the various state and local agencies. Federal troops have been requested and are already committed. Fierce fighting is taking place in several major cities and intelligence reports indicate the disorder is likely to spread still further. Large numbers of United States troops are still committed overseas and cannot be readily recalled to the United States. To further complicate the problem, white vigilante groups have surfaced and are taking independent counteractions against blacks — without too much attempt to discriminate between militant and nonmilitant…
Faced by mounting death and destruction, as well as increasing demands that he do so, the President reluctantly declares a state of national emergency and puts the entire country on a war basis. The previously murmured suggestion that all Negroes be locked up now swells to a roar. It is like 1941 again, except that now it is the “Black Peril” rather than the “Yellow Peril.”
In the extremely unlikely event that the government were to order the evacuation and detention of all blacks from actual or potential trouble spots, how and by whom would the order be enforced? What are the yardsticks for collecting, evacuating, and interning either militant or pacifistic minority groups; or dissident, potentially disloyal elements; or law-abiding citizens whose only offense is accident of color? Where would the internees be kept? … What would be done with the blacks in the Armed Forces and in civil service and in Congress? The task would be far too large for the Justice Department; it would have to be greatly augmented by military forces, primarily from the United States Army.
The government has historically had the right to protect itself. A government faced with prolonged, simultaneous, apparently coordinated riots disrupting the entire nation to the point where the government feared its very existence was in jeopardy would take many actions which in calmer times would never be considered. “The authority to decide whether the exigency has arisen, belongs exclusively to the President and … his decision is conclusive upon all other persons.” (Martin v. Mott, US Supreme Court 1827).”

Giuffrada’s views could be compared to those of National Security Council staffer Oliver North, who, the Miami Herald reported in 1987, devised a contingency plan for national crises that involved abandoning the constitution. As FEMA administrator, Giuffrida and North collaborated, and the agency supplied the staff for Ronald Reagan’s Emergency Management Preparedness Board, which featured North among its directors.
Oliver North wrote the infamous REX 84 Plan, which was basically patterned after Giuffrada’s Racial Imperative thesis. The Rex 84 Plan and other subsequent documents like it simply replaced the words “Negro” and “Black” with code words like “civilians”,”refugees” (remember how the head’s of FEMA and media outlets were referring to Black people during 2005’s Hurricane Katrina as “refugees”) and now “evacuees”.
The Racial Imperative also described how the media was used to demonize the image and public perception of Japanese-Americans during World War II in order to justify rounding them up to place them in internment camps.

So the question we must ask the dominant white society,is if Black people are the “problem”, then what is the ultimate “solution?”

I believe that the Black Race in America has become  dysfunctional and has crossed boundaries beyond the point of no return. It is now on a collision course with the U.S. government and dire consequences are going to follow.

One of the reasons the U.S. Federal Government has these contingency plans in place is due to the rise of Black Militant groups. Below is one example:

Black Panther Party, original name Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, African American revolutionary party, founded in 1966 in Oakland, California, by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. The party’s original purpose was to patrol African American neighbourhoods to protect residents from acts of police brutality. The Panthers eventually developed into a Marxist revolutionary group that called for the arming of all African Americans, the exemption of African Americans from the draft and from all sanctions of so-called white America, the release of all African Americans from jail, and the payment of compensation to African Americans for centuries of exploitation by white Americans. At its peak in the late 1960s, Panther membership exceeded 2,000, and the organization operated chapters in several major American cities.

Their Ten-Point Program

  1. We Want Freedom. We Want Power To Determine
The Destiny Of Our Black Community.
We believe that Black people will not be free until we are able to determine our destiny.

  2. We Want Full Employment For Our People.
We believe that the federal government is responsible and obligated to give every man employment or a guaranteed income. We believe that if the White American businessmen will not give full employment, then the means of production should be taken from the businessmen and placed in the community so that the people of the community can organize and employ all of its people and give a high standard of living.

  3. We Want An End To The Robbery
By The Capitalists Of Our Black Community.
We believe that this racist government has robbed us, and now we are demanding the overdue debt of forty acres and two mules. Forty acres and two mules were promised 100 years ago as restitution for slave labor and mass murder of Black people. We will accept the payment in currency which will be distributed to our many communities. The Germans are now aiding the Jews in Israel for the genocide of the Jewish people. The Germans murdered six million Jews. The American racist has taken part in the slaughter of over fifty million Black people; therefore, we feel that this is a modest demand that we make.

  4. We Want Decent Housing Fit For The Shelter Of Human Beings.
We believe that if the White Landlords will not give decent housing to our Black community, then the housing and the land should be made into cooperatives so that our community, with government aid, can build and make decent housing for its people.

  5. We Want Education For Our People That Exposes
The True Nature Of This Decadent American Society.
We Want Education That Teaches Us Our True History
And Our Role In The Present-Day Society.
We believe in an educational system that will give to our people a knowledge of self. If a man does not have knowledge of himself and his position in society and the world, then he has little chance to relate to anything else.

  6. We Want All Black Men To Be Exempt From Military Service.
We believe that Black people should not be forced to fight in the military service to defend a racist government that does not protect us. We will not fight and kill other people of color in the world who, like Black people, are being victimized by the White racist government of America. We will protect ourselves from the force and violence of the racist police and the racist military, by whatever means necessary.
  7. We Want An Immediate End To
Police Brutality And Murder Of Black People.
We believe we can end police brutality in our Black community by organizing Black self-defense groups that are dedicated to defending our Black community from racist police oppression and brutality. The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States gives a right to bear arms. We therefore believe that all Black people should arm themselves for self- defense.

  8. We Want Freedom For All Black Men
Held In Federal, State, County And City Prisons And Jails.
We believe that all Black people should be released from the many jails and prisons because they have not received a fair and impartial trial.

  9. We Want All Black People When Brought To Trial To Be Tried In
Court By A Jury Of Their Peer Group Or People From Their Black
Communities, As Defined By The Constitution Of The United States.
We believe that the courts should follow the United States Constitution so that Black people will receive fair trials. The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution gives a man a right to be tried by his peer group. A peer is a person from a similar economic, social, religious, geographical, environmental, historical and racial background. To do this the court will be forced to select a jury from the Black community from which the Black defendant came. We have been, and are being, tried by all-White juries that have no understanding of the "average reasoning man" of the Black community.

  10. We Want Land, Bread, Housing, Education,
    Clothing, Justice And Peace.
A review from the book "Black Lies Matter"
Chicago a.k.a “Chiraq," the first ten days of 2016 yielded 120 people shot. Baltimore’s 2015 ended as its bloodiest and deadliest year — on a per-capita basis. In 2014, Detroit’s police chief called upon law-abiding citizens to take arms against its burgeoning, violent, criminal subculture. Unfortunately, these cities aren’t anomalies. Year after year, a seemingly unshakable reality of violence plagues black communities nationwide. In fact, since 1980, blacks have routinely accounted for almost half of America’s annual homicide victims, and more than half of the perpetrators — all while being a minor thirteen percent of the national populace. Yet, a certain black-based industry — which specializes in nurturing comfortable lies while burying uncomfortable truths — propagates a notion that “racism” is the foremost issue facing black Americans, and white cops are blood-thirsty enforcers. Moreover, this cunning, race-peddling entity knows that it's easier to lie to blacks than to convince blacks that they've been lied to. Thus, black "lies" are good for business... black "lives" are good for nothing (except exploitation). And presently, business is booming.

800 Prison Camps In USA/Location Of FEMA Concentration Camps In America

THE LOCATION OF CONCENTRATION CAMPS IN AMERICA
There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list. The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons. Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose. Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.

The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people. Now let’s review the justification for any actions taken… Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These Executive Orders have been on record for over 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen…EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to seize all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports, and waterways.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10999 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation. General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA’s Civil Security Division stated in a 1983 conference that he saw FEMA’s role as a “new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis.” FEMA’s powers were consolidated by President Carter to incorporate the National Security Act of 1947. It allows for the strategic relocation of industries, services, government and other essential economic activities, and to rationalize the requirements for manpower, resources and production facilities.

1950 Defense Production Act gives the President sweeping powers over all aspects of the economy.
Act of August 29, 1916 authorizes the Secretary of the Army, in time of war, to take possession of any transportation system for transporting troops, material, or any other purpose related to the emergency.
International Emergency Economic Powers Act enables the President to seize the property of a foreign country or national. These powers were transferred to FEMA in a sweeping consolidation in 1979.
