JONATHAN CAHN, JOSE BERNAL & THEIR BOOKS " THE FALLACIES ABOUT THE HARBINGER" DEBUNKED

PART I

If a prophet does not tell the truth while claiming to have a direct pipeline of communication from God, that prophet is to be avoided like the plague. It doesn't matter if he can bring down fire from heaven and raise the dead. HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED"!

"DISCERNMENT TOOL KIT" BY APOLOGIST SANDY SIMPSON page 252.

Dear viewer:  Jonathan Cahn utilizes elements from Jewish tradition, including Midrashic themes, Talmudic concepts, and deeper rabbinic mystical interpretations like the  Zohar ( i.e. his teaching series "THE ZOHAR SPEAKS") to develop  his so called "ancient mysteries" and prophetic insights found in his books.
For example:
  • Mystical Patterns: His work, particularly The Harbinger and The Book of Mysteries, is noted for its inclusion of Jewish mysticism (MYSTICAL HERMENUETICS) and rabbinic insights that he describes as "streams of mysteries" passed down through the centuries by New Age Rabbinical Sages.
  • Hidden Meanings: He utilizes the rabbinic approach that every letter or word in Scripture can contain a hidden sense for example gematria, a practice common in both Midrash and mystical traditions like the Zohar.
Critics often point out that this reliance on extra-biblical "mysteries" and rabbinic interpretations can sometimes lead to speculative prophecy or eisegesis (reading his own ideas into the text).
In this article I expose the hidden dangers behind Mr. Cahn's biblical interpretations and why you need to be deeply concerned about his so called Ancient Mysteries. Because this is being imported into the Body of Christ by the Messianic Jewish Movement. Not all Messianic Jewish ministries are doing this but only some. And many well known ministers of the Gospel are embracing this and misleading their flocks by calling Cahn America's Prophet. They are televising this through TBN, DAYSTAR, IT'S SUPER NATURAL and the likes of them. With that being said,  I now invite you to take with me a deep dive into Cahn's Mystical Hermeneutics.

Jonathan Cahn is what I consider to be an END TIMES FANTASY WRITER for the following reasons:

  • Genre & Style: Cahn frequently uses a "narrative" or "story" format (such as in his bestseller The Harbinger) to present what he considers to be divine revelations or "ancient mysteries". Because these narratives involve supernatural themes, ancient entities, and prophetic interpretations of current events, they are sometimes categorized under speculative fiction or Christian fiction by retailers like the "LEFT BEHIND SERIES" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

  • Criticism: Skeptics and some theological critics label his work as "fantasy" or "doomsday prophecy" because they view his interpretations as conspiratorial for lacking biblical and historical accuracy. Millions of Christians in America and around the world were bamboozled by these so called HARBINGERS!  And here's more evidence to prove my point:

CAHN'S IDEAS FOR THE HARBINGER BOOK

CAME FROM THE ONE YEAR BIBLE.

IT WAS NEVER A PROPHETIC REVELATION

BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY WRITTEN

DOWN YEARS BEFORE HIS BOOK THE

HARBINGER WAS EVEN PUBLISHED.

THE ONE YEAR BIBLE FIRST PUBLISHED

ISAIAH 9:10 ON 9/11/1987 BY TYNDALE.

Tyndale published the first One Year Bible in 1987.

Since then they have published the

One Year Bible in many different translations.

PART II

While Jonathan Cahn's  has been a massive commercial success, it has faced significant theological and hermeneutical controversies, primarily from Christian scholars and theologians.
Major areas of controversy include:
1. Misinterpretation of Scripture (Eisegesis)
Critics argue that Cahn uses eisegesis—reading his own ideas into the text—rather than exegesis.
  • Isaiah 9:10 Misapplication: The central claim of the book is that
    Isaiah 9:10
contains a "mystery" that applies to modern America. Biblical scholars argue this prophecy was specifically for the ancient Northern Kingdom of Israel and was fulfilled historically when they were destroyed by Assyria.
  • Ignoring Context: The broader context of
    Isaiah 9
describes devastating judgment, not a "warning" or "harbingers" meant to lead to repentance, which critics say Cahn ignores to fit his narrative
    .

2. The "America as the New Israel" Fallacy
A core point of contention is the implication that the United States is in a covenant relationship with God similar to ancient Israel.
  • Theological Error: Most orthodox theologians maintain that God only has one covenant nation, Israel, and that America has no such biblical standing.
  • Nationalism: Critics argue this approach promotes a form of Christian nationalism that detracts from the universal gospel message of salvation through Christ.
3. Allegorical and Mystical Interpretation
Cahn’s method of finding "hidden mysteries" and "ancient blueprints" in the Bible has been heavily criticized.
  • Biblical Sufficiency: Critics claim this treats the Bible as a "mystical codebook" rather than a clear, authoritative revelation.
  • Kabbalistic Influence: Some critics allege that Cahn’s "mystery-seeking" approach is influenced by Jewish mysticism (MYSTICAL HERMENUETICS) rather than traditional biblical scholarship.
  •  For example, Jewish mystical hermeneutics is the esoteric practice of interpreting sacred texts, primarily the Torah/O.T. to uncover hidden divine secrets, spiritual realities, and deeper meanings beyond the literal words, using methods like analyzing letter combinations, word breaks, numerology(Gematria) and symbolic structures to reveal God's hidden knowledge and influence over the spiritual realms. It's rooted in Kabbalah, viewing the Torah as a divine blueprint filled with infinite layers of meaning accessible through deep, symbolic reading and meditative techniques, not just legal or historical understanding.
4. Sensationalism and "Selling Fear"
Many critics view the book's promotional style and claims as sensationalist.
  • Speculative Prophecy: Critics point out that several of Cahn's specific predictions (such as those regarding economic collapses related to the "Shemitah" cycle) have not manifested as described.
  • Profit Motive: Some high-profile critics have described the book as "selling fear" for financial gain.
5. Historical and Factual Stretching
Researchers have challenged the "empirical" facts Cahn uses to link 9/11 to ancient Israel.
  • Stretching Facts: For example, Cahn identifies a "cedar" replacing a "sycamore" at Ground Zero as a harbinger; however, critics note the tree was actually a Norway Spruce, which is not a cedar.
  • Selective History: Critics argue Cahn ignores other devastating events in U.S. history (like the Civil War or Pearl Harbor) that do not fit his specific nine harbinger patterns.

PART III

JOSE  BERNAL

GALATIONS 1:8
New International Version
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach another gospel
other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!

TITUS 1:14
Don't pay any attention to any of those senseless Jewish fables and human commands.
These are made up by people who won't obey the truth.

APOSTLE PAUL

WHAT ARE JEWISH FABLES?

Jewish fables" in Titus 1:14 refer to unauthorized, extra-biblical myths, speculative, and legalistic traditions circulating in first-century Judaism, which Paul warned could distract from the Gospel. These often included Talmudic-like tales, genealogies, and rigid ascetic rules that, in the Institute for Creation Research view, blended Scripture with human inventions.
Key characteristics and examples of these "fables" mentioned in the context of Paul's letters include:
  • Midrashic Legends: Fanciful, embellished stories surrounding Old Testament patriarchs and historical figures.
  • Legalistic Regulations: Strict dietary, ceremonial, or ritual restrictions not found in Scripture (e.g., "commandments of men"), often focusing on ceremonial purity.
  • Genealogies and Speculations: Endless tracking of genealogies (1 Timothy 1:4) and speculative discussions that caused divisions rather than building faith.
  • Gnostic or Mystical Elements: Some interpretations suggest these stories may have included early, esoteric, or mystical ideas.
Paul instructed Titus to reject these teachings because they "turn from the truth", serving as distractions that substitute human opinion for sound doctrine.
  • 6. And now for JOSE  BERNAL;   A  BIBLICAL INSTRUCTOR UNDER THE PASTORAL LEADERSHIP OF JONATHAN CAHN WHO BELIEVES IT'S OKAY FOR CHRISTIAN BIBLE SCHOLARS(INCLUDING HIMSELF & JONATHAN CAHN) TO USE THE ZOHAR, A JEWISH MYSTICAL SATANIC BOOK TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR APOLOGETICS.
The following is an excerpt taken from Bernal's book page 155 CHAPTER 12; MYSTICISM, DREAMS, KABBALAH, AND THE ENLIGHTENMENT AND I QUOTE:

"THERE HAVE BEEN CLAIMS THAT CAHN WAS INFLUENCED IN HIS WRITINGS BY ANCIENT MYSTICAL TEACHINGS FROM THE MIDDLE AGES, WRITINGS ASSERTED TO BE SECRET ANCIENT WRITINGS OR COMPILATIONS OF SECRET WRITINGS. THIS JEWISH MYSTICAL SCHOOL OF THOUGHT CAME TO BE KNOWN AS KABBALAH, MEANING, "TO RECEIVE, TO ACCEPT". THE ACCUSATION, MADE BY A FEW, THAT THE HARBINGER HAS BEEN INFLUENCED MY MYSTICAL JEWISH WRITINGS SUCH AS THE ZOHAR REPRESENT SOME OF THE MOST EXTREME AND BIZARRE OPPOSITION HE HAS FACED. IT IS AN EXTREME FALSE ACCUSATION. ONE OF THESE ACCUSATIONS IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT CAHN QUOTED FROM RABBINICAL TEXTS TO SHOW THAT THE RABBIS EXPOUNDED ON SUCH THINGS AS ISAIAH 53 BEING ABOUT THE MESSIAH OR GOD BEING THREE IN ONE-EVEN THE TRUTH OF THE MESSIAH DYING FOR OUR SINS. THESE THINGS CAN BE USED TO SHARE THE GOSPEL(NO KIDDING JOSE-MY PERSONAL RESPONSE TO HIS FAULTY LOGIC), AND HAVE BEEN A STANDARD METHOD OF APOLOGETICS AND EVANGELISM FOR AGES. RABBINICAL WRITINGS, AS WELL AS OTHER WRITINGS OF ALL SORTS, MYSTICAL OR OTHERWISE, HAVE BEEN QUOTED FOR AGES IN BIBLE COMMENTARIES, APOLOGETICS, AND WORKS LIKE THE LIFE AND TIMES OF JESUS THE MESSIAH" END OF QUOTE.
  • Jose  Bernal continues again with his false narrative as follows:

  • "Isn't it amazing how God uses Paul in Acts 17 to teach the pagans from their own writings on Mar's Hill and how in Apologetics even the Book of Zohar unwittingly supports the Gospel because it has been used by faithful witness Apologists as a "hostile witness" of the Gospel? Only God can do such things; turn something like the Book of Zohar into a tool that bears witness that Jesus is the Messiah! Thank you."
  • My rebuttal to Jose Bernal's  ludicrous counter arguments regarding Paul quoting from a poem in Acts 17:
In Acts 17, Paul quoted Greek poets (specifically Aratus and likely Epimenides) to bridge the gap between biblical truth and Athenian culture, using their own literature to argue against idolatry and for the one true Creator God. This strategic move established common ground, highlighting that even their poets acknowledged humanity's dependence on a divine source.
    • Exposing Contradictions: Paul uses their poetry to highlight the absurdity of idol worship (gold/silver/stone), arguing that if humans are the "offspring" of a living God, God cannot be reduced to an inanimate statue.
    • Contextualizing the Gospel: Rather than quoting the Old Testament which his audience did not accept, Paul uses a form of cultural apologetics ( PAUL WAS NOT QUOTING FROM GNOSTIC OR MYSTICAL ELEMENTS)  but from POETRY in order to introduce to the Greeks at Mars Hill the Unknown God and the resurrection.
    • Refuting Idolatry: Paul used the quotes "For in Him we live and move and have our being" and "We are His offspring" to show that God cannot be confined to man-made idols.
Paul does not endorse their pagan philosophy but rather uses truths partially understood by them to redirect their focus toward the Creator and the need for repentance.

  • Jose continues with his baseless arguments with regards to the Zohar & the Babylonian Talmud as follows:
  • "The only thing that I would use the Zohar for and the Babylonian Talmud would be for the same use that eminent Messianic Jews such as Dr. Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum, Dr. Michael Rygelnik, Dr. Michael Brown, Dr. Mitch Glazer, and many more, such as Pastor and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn would use such works for; to affirm from them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is called in Apologetics "the fair use of a hostile witness" to affirm a specific matter".
Let’s look at it another way Mr. Jose Bernal – would a born again, biblically sound Christian:

… quote from a Quronic document to evangelize Moslems because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

… quote from a Mormon document to evangelize Mormons because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

quote from a Jehovah’s Witnesses document to evangelize Jehovah’s Witnesses because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

quote from a New Age document to evangelize New Agers because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

quote from a Wiccan document to evangelize Wiccans because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

quote from a Satanic Bible document to evangelize Satanists because it seemed to contain some Christian thoughts?

These statements made by Jose  Bernal  in his own words in writing is nothing more than an UNHOLY ALLIANCE with Secret Knowledge i.e. Seeking hidden, esoteric wisdom/knowledge for the purpose of decoding Ancient Mysteries from the ZOHAR OR THE BABYLONIAN TALMUD. It is not based on SOUND  BIBLICAL HERMENUETICS OR APOLOGETICS and has absolutely nothing to do with the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD. They are extra-biblical sources written by New Age Rabbinical Sages. These sages are the posterity of the Pharisees and Sadducees spoken of in the 4 Gospels.  Anyone who is seeking this kind of esoteric knowledge in essence is shaking hands with the devil. This theological perspective which Jose Bernal and his associates which he named above with regards to the Zohar has a close resemblance to what Christian  Kabbalist believe in with their mystical hermeneutics with regards to Jesus Christ. THEY ARE TEACHING/PRESENTING YOU WITH A FALSE GOSPEL! More about this later as you continue reading below.

Also at the bottom of this page in part 4 I have inserted 5 links exposing the Babylonian Talmud and the Zohar, and 8 videos diving deeper into the Zohar for your convenience and further study.
  • Jose Bernal continues to make claims that these writings can be used strictly for Apologetics purposes in support of the Gospel, to show that the ancient rabbis interpreted the Hebrew Bible “Messianically????”
    • Listen to what he had to say: Let me make this perfectly clear so as not be misunderstood again and mischaracterized by Satanic false witnesses; when I refer to the Talmud, the Book of Zohar, and the writings of the Rabbis, including among them the Midrashim about the Messiah; I refer to those portions of such writings and oral traditions which were later included in the Babylonian Talmud which were used by Jews prior to and during the Second Temple Era, which speak of the coming Messiah, which have been used by Christian Apologists long before the modern era as hostile witnesses which corroborate many parts of Christ’s life contained in the Synoptic Gospels and the Gospel of John.

      MY Rebuttal:

“THE DANGERS BEHIND JOSE BERNAL’S EXTRA BIBLICAL SOURCES AND THE MESSIANIC JEWISH MOVEMENT”

      The Talmud

The Babylonian Talmud is a commentary on the Mishnah composed by Babylonian Jewish sages (Ravs) from the early third to the sixth century. A Jewish sage who was from Babylonia would have been addressed by the title, ‘Rav,’ while one who lived in Israel would have been called ‘Rabbi.’ One portion of the Talmud dealt with folklore, especially magical and medical recipes. The following statement, from TORAH TO KABBALAH by R.C. Musaph-Andriesse, on the primacy of the Babylonian Talmud (T.B.) is representative of Jewish scholarship:

“There are two editions of the Talmud, the Jerusalem Talmud and the Babylonian Talmud. Of these two, the Babylonian Talmud is authoritative for Orthodox Judaism, which regards it as divinely inspired… The superiority of the Babylonian Talmud is so great, that when people now talk about the Talmud, they always mean the Babylonian Talmud. The authority of the Babylonian Talmud is also greater than that of the Jerusalem Talmud. In cases of doubt the former is decisive.” (pg. 40, New York, Oxford University, Press, 1982).

      The Mishnah

The Mishnah is the early Talmud or the forerunner of the Talmud. To the Mishnah the rabbis later added the Gemara (Rabbinical commentaries). Together these comprise the Talmud. Scholars will claim that the Talmud is partly a collection of oral traditions given by Moses which had not yet been written down in Jesus’ time. However, Christ condemned the traditions of the Mishnah (early Talmud) and the Scribes and Pharisees who taught it, because their oral traditions contradicted the teachings of Scripture. The severe warnings of Jesus Christ regarding the traditions of men which make null and void the Word of God is found in Matt. 15:1-20 and Mark 7:1-13 and are a reference to the Mishnah.

Nesta Webster’s Secret Societies and Subversive Movements adds:

“… the Jewish Encyclopedia admits that Jewish legends concerning Jesus are found in the Talmud and Midrash and in the life of Jesus (Toledot Yeshu) that originated in the Middle Ages. It is the tendency of all these sources to belittle the person of Jesus by ascribing to Him illegitimate birth, magic, and a shameful death.” [Jewish Encyclopedia, article on Jesus]
The Midrash and midrashic interpretation tend to devalue the literal, historical interpretation of Scripture in favor of private, hidden and even mystical interpretations. For example, Rabbi Scheinerman’s Magical Midrash page states:
“Midrash is subversive as it winds its way between and around stern, stark, seemingly stagnant texts. As Judith Plaskow has stated, ‘Jews have traditionally used midrash to broaden or alter the meaning of texts’ (in Davidman/Tenenbaum, 80). Midrash assumes that the black letters of scripture as well as the white spaces between them are holy; that the explicitly stated as well as that which can be inferred from the Bible can be manifestations of God’s word. Midrash is a kind of scriptural archaeology, bidding us not to stop at surface appearances but to dig down deeply into the text to uncover hidden riches…”

Some of the errors in the Messianic Jews today are:

      1. They call for Christians to recognize extra-biblical Jewish books, which are supposed to give fuller understanding of the Greek New Testament. In fact some go so far as to proclaim the Hebrew Scriptures are the authentic scriptures, not the Greek text of the KJV Bible.

The New Testament was given in its original, inspired from the Hand of God, in GREEK, not Hebrew.

The Bible was written in 3 languages:

      1. Hebrew was the Language of the Old Testament.
      2. Aramaic was the language of the far east until the time of Alexander the Great.
      3. Greek was the New Testament language and the International language at the time of Christ.

The Canon of Scripture is closed and preserved by the Lord in the Greek language. Whether Christians are from Jewish backgrounds or not, we must all recognize the authority of God’s Word, as given to us in the Canon of Holy Scripture. No other books can or should be added to this Canon.

While Catholics also add to the Canon of Scripture extra-biblical books and teach much apostasy, the same pattern is seen in the Messianic Jewish Movement as seen in Catholicism. Both add works to divine grace making the grace of Christ of no effect. The Bible is divinely inspired by God from Genesis to Revelation, no other writings are necessary for understanding the Bible. The Holy Spirit reveals the Word to us and we do not need that any man teach us. No other authority can be accepted. Jewish extra-biblical writings do NOT enlighten Christians as to the “hidden meanings” of Scripture. The deep things of God are shown to surrendered Christians by the Holy Spirit opening Scripture and making the Bible plain!

    • Most of the extra-biblical Hebrew “scriptures” that the MESSIANIC JEWISH MOVEMENT is seeking to foist onto the Christian Church are ancient rabbinical writings, often mixed smoothly with occult and mystical sources, (LIKE THE ZOHAR AND THE BABYLONIAN TALMUD  which Jose Bernal mentioned above) which is traditional material which are not Scripture at all. They are extra-biblical sources of knowledge written by NEW AGE RABBINICAL SAGES. Jose Bernal's claims that the Rabbis in their Rabbinical writings show that they interpreted the Hebrew Bible “Messianically doesn't have a leg to stand on because his claims are based on a false narrative. All Jose wants to do is sell his book to the Biblically inept who unfortunately don't take the time and effort to study the Word of God for themselves and do some serious fact checking.

    • Furthemore it is also obvious that the chief priests considered the teachings of Jesus to be quite “revolutionary”, though as far as they were concerned that was not a good thing. They had a vested interest in keeping the status quo. They had a lot of power and prestige at stake, and Jesus was “upsetting the apple cart”.

Besides, Jesus didn’t fit most of their preconceived notions of what the Messiah would be like. They wanted a military leader that would lead Israel in a revolt against the Romans and free them from Roman occupation. As far as they were concerned Jesus was a trouble maker that needed to be done away with. And so the arrest notice went out…..and the rest is History.

    •

    • Also the Zohar does not typically mention Jesus by name directly, but scholars have identified that it contains veiled, hostile references to him, the Virgin Mary, and Christianity, often framing them as the ultimate "other side" (evil/demonic) to Judaism. These references are generally understood as polemical, anti-gospel narratives intended to subvert Christian doctrines.

    • Key Locations and Themes in the Zohar:
      • The "Son of an Israelite Woman and an Egyptian Man" (Leviticus 24:10–23): The Zohar’s commentary on this story is widely recognized as a polemic against Jesus, framing him as a illegitimate, dangerous figure—specifically as "the blasphemer".
      • Balaam/Christ Narrative (Zohar 3:193b–194b): The Zohar reworks the story of the prophet Balaam to mirror and criticize the life of Jesus, featuring a narrative where he flies (ascension) but fails to reach heaven, is killed, and is left unburied.
      • Symbolic Identification (The Blasphemer's Mother): The Zohar links the mother of the biblical blasphemer with the Virgin Mary, presenting an anti-gospel perspective, according to analyses of Zoharic homilies.
      • Association with Sitra Ahra (Other Side): The Zohar generally places figures associated with idolatry or severe deviation from Jewish law into the Sitra Ahra (the side of evil/demons), a category that fits the Zohar’s polemical view of Jesus as a false prophet.
    • Was Jesus Christ in agreement with the Jewish rabbis? Does not Scripture devote the entirety of Matthew 23 to Jesus’ scathing denunciation of those very rabbis and their religious system based on traditions which contradicted the Word of God?

    • According to Secret Societies and Subversive Movements, the Talmud and the Kabbalah were derived from Jewish oral traditions which were accorded the same authority of the Mosaic Law:
“According to Fabre d’Olivet, Moses, who ‘was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians’ drew from the Egyptian mysteries a part of the oral tradition which was handed down through the leaders of the Israelites…That such an oral tradition, distinct from the written word embodied in the Pentateuch, did descend from Moses and that it was later committed to writing in the Talmud and the Cabala is the opinion of many Jewish writers. [According to the Jewish view God had given Moses on Mt. Sinai alike the oral and the written Law, that is, the Law with all its interpretations and applications –Alfred Edersheim]” (Omni Publications, 1964, p.6.)

    • From the Talmud the Rabbis developed the Zohar, the preeminent book of the Cabala, as documented extensively in Webster’s Secret Societies and also in the Jewish Encyclopedia:
“… Monsieur Paul Vulliaud, in his exhaustive work on the Cabala recently published,1. says that its date has been placed as early as the sixth century before Christ and as late as the tenth century A.D., but that it is at any rate older than the Talmud is shown by the fact that in the Talmud the Rabbis are described as studying it for magical purposes.2. The Sepher Yetzirah is also said to be the work referred to in the Koran under the name of the “Book of Abraham”. 3.

    • “The immense compilation known as the Sepher-Ha- Zohar, Book of Light, is … of greater importance to the study of Cabalistic philosophy. According to the Zohar itself, the “Mysteries of Wisdom” were imparted to Adam by God whilst he was still in the Garden of Eden, in the form of a book delivered by the angel Razael. From Adam the book passed on to Seth … Enoch… Noah … Abraham, and later to Moses, one of its principal exponents.4. Other Jewish writers declare… that Moses received it for the first time on Mt. Sinai. . . to the Seventy Elders…to David and Solomon …Ezra …Nehemiah and finally to the Rabbis of the early Christian era 5.

    • “…Until this date the Zohar had remained a purely oral tradition … written down by the disciples of Simon ben Jochai. The Talmud relates that for 12 years the Rabbi Simon and his son Eliezer concealed themselves in a cavern, where sitting in the sand up to their necks, they meditated on the sacred law and were frequently visited by the prophet Elias.6. In this way, Jewish legend adds, the great book of the Zohar was composed and committed to writing by the Rabbis’ son Eliezer and his secretary Rabbi Abba. 7.
The fact is that the main ideas of the Zohar find confirmation in the Talmud. As the Jewish Encyclopedia observes, ‘the Cabala, is not really in opposition to the Talmud,’ and ‘many Talmudic Jews have supported and contributed to it.’ Adolphe Franch does not hesitate to describe it as “the heart and life of Judaism.” (Webster, p. 9)

    • “The greater number of the most eminent rabbis of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries believed firmly in the sacredness of the Zohar and of the infallibility of it’s teaching.” (Jewish Encyclopedia, article on Cabala)

    • Midrashic interpretations permit students of Scripture to explore far beyond the safe boundaries of the sacred canon. Apostates such as Unity minister Rev. J. Ronald Jones, are permitted nearly unlimited license using midrashim to support their false teachings.  Midrash/midrashim are based on Rabbinic fantasy tales embroidered around Bible narratives such as patriarchs and Biblical events and are used to decode hidden meanings of scripture at the esoteric level.

    • And that pretty much explains how Jonathan Cahn's so called Ancient Mysteries were constructed on all of his books; by applying the model of Mystical Hermenuetics/Midrashim.

The following excerpt is taken from the book “ISRAEL OUR DUTY…OUR DILEMMA by Author Ted Winston Pike pages 101-102:

“What really excited them(THE RABBIS) was that the Kabbalah preached revolution. It told them that they no longer wait upon an inscrutable God to GRANT THEM THEIR MESSIAH & world dominion at his pleasure. Instead, since they in effect were divine, THEY COULD BRING IN THE MESSIANIC AGE THEMSELVES. By the employment of Kabbalistic magic they could appropriate material gain as a result of their own efforts and PRODUCE A MESSIAH TO RULE OVER THEM (cf Univ. Jewish Encyclopedia p615). Although Kabbalah had been developed and practiced in varying forms since the time of CHRIST, it was not until 1300 A.D. that a SINGLE SOURCE BOOK OF KABBALAH WAS PRODUCED, THE ZOHAR! After it’s publication it became the greatest importance in spreading the practice of Kabbalah throughout Europe”.

I MAKE THE FOLLOWING QUOTATION FROM TED W. PIKE'S BOOK "ISRAEL OUR DUTY OUR DELIMMA" FROM PAGE 103: " The Kabbalah at this time was a Babylonian brew which included such occult features as REINCARNATION, NECROMANCY, CONJURATION, ASTRAL PROJECTION, COOPERATION WITH DEMONS, ASTROLOGY, NUMEROLOGY, AND A VAST SYSTEM FOR THE USE OF CHARMS, AMULETS & INCANTATIONS". In short, most of what was distinctive of BABYLONIAN & EGYPTIAN SORCERY WAS INCLUDED IN THE ZOHAR! Even today virtually all occult systems (especially THEOSOPHICAL ONES) and practices, including WITCHCRAFT & SATANISM, borrow heavily from the KABBALAH(AS PRESERVED IN THE ZOHAR) in their rituals and symbolism".

  • Zohar: means RADIANCE OR SPLENDOR. It is the PREMIER TEXT OF OCCULTIC KNOWLEDGE within the KABBALAH & a basis for laws instituted by NEW AGE RABBINICAL SAGES. AUTHORSHIP attributed in legend to NEW AGE RABBI SHIMON BEN YOHAI 2nd century A.D.. The Zohar is the SYNTHESIS OF THE OCCULT GNOSIS of PHARAONIC EGYPT & ANCIENT BABYLON. The Lord God NEVER INSPIRED these new age rabbinical sages to write this OCCULTIC BOOK UNWITTINGLY OR OTHERWISE as Mr. JOSE J. BERNAL EMPHATICALLY IS CLAIMING. This  clearly reveals that Mr. Cahn author of the book The HARBINGER  and Jose J. Bernal are using OCCULTIC WRITINGS  to SUPPLEMENT THEIR SERMONS, TEACHINGS AND APOLOGETICS.

Rabbi Simeon Ben Yochai author of the Zohar:
The Roman Emperor of the 2nd century of the C.E. placed a death sentence upon the head of Rabbi Yochai for fear of his power & great influence. In order to escape the Roman Soldiers, the great kabbalist together with his son Rabbi Elazar took refuge in a cave in Pequi"in, Israel. There for 13 years they buried themselves in the ground up to their necks in order to subjugate the distractions of their bodies. It was during this time that they SUPPOSEDLY recieved instructions in the deepest mysteries of the Torah from ELIJAH THE PROPHET. These teachings would later become the foundation of THE ZOHAR.

.IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FURTHER BACKGROUND INTO THE CORRUPT DOCTRINES AND MORAL DECAY OF RABBI SIMEON BEN YOHAI, I MAKE THE FOLLOWING QUOTATION WITH REGARDS TO HIS APPROVAL & LEGALIZATION OF CHILD SEX WITH 3 YEAR OLD GIRLS AS FOLLOWS
YEBAMOTH 60b: IT WAS TAUGHT: RABBI SIMEON BEN YOHAI STATED: A PROSOLYTE WHO IS UNDER THE AGE OF 3 YEARS AND ONE DAY IS PERMITTED TO MARRY A PRIEST. FOR IT IS SAID, BUT ALL THE WOMEN CHILDREN THAT HAVE NOT KNOWN MAN BY LYING WITH HIM, KEEP ALIVE FOR YOURSELVES, AND PHINEAS WHO WAS A PRIEST, SURELY WAS WITH THEM.

  • As Christians are being misled by their Judaizing preachers & popes who are increasingly consulting Jewish rabbinical sources for a "PURER" understanding of the Old Testament, they are unknowningly consulting the OCCULT.
Judaism is the religion of the Pharisees and the patrimony of Babylon from where the Talmudic & Kabbalistic traditions of Judaism ultimately derive. Orthodox Judaism's other sacred book, the Kabbalah( THE ZOHAR BEING IT'S PREMIER TEXT OF OCCULT KNOWLEDGE) is filled with astrological teachings, fortune telling, gematria, necromancy & DEMONOLOGY.
Orthodox Rabbis place curses, cast spells & imagine they have powers greater than God, derived from their study of the Sefer Yezriah(a book of Kabbalistic Magic). Christians are TRAFFICKING in Babylonian Paganism when they DEFER to the the Rabbis of Judaism "Michael Hoffman".

  • 7.  The Zohar does not explicitly identify Jesus (Yeshua) as the "Son of God" in the Christian sense of the term, as traditional Judaism does not consider Jesus to be the Messiah or divine. However, the Zohar does contain passages that refer to a metaphysical "Son" and "Messiah" using language that some Christian and Messianic Jewish scholars see as paralleling New Testament descriptions of Jesus.
The Zohar and the Concept of "Son"
The Zohar, a foundational work of Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah), explores the nature of the divine and the Messiah using rich, symbolic language.
    • A "Son" Figure: Passages in the Zohar describe a "Son" figure who is an emanation within the Godhead, representing God's visible image and majesty. This figure is depicted as a mediator between God and mankind, a balance between judgment and mercy, and is associated with creation and wisdom.
    • Messianic References: The Zohar speaks of a suffering Messiah (Messiah son of Joseph) who atones for sins, and a reigning Messiah (Messiah son of David). It applies biblical verses like Psalm 2:7 ("Thou art My son; this day have I begotten Thee") to the Messiah, a concept found in other ancient rabbinic literature as well.
    Interpretations
    • Christian/Messianic Jewish Perspective: Adherents of this view argue that the Zohar's description of a divine "Son" who embodies the fullness of the Godhead, acts as a mediator, and fulfills messianic roles provides a Jewish conceptual framework that aligns with the New Testament's presentation of Jesus. They point out numerous "New Testament references" or affinities in the Zohar, seeing them as evidence that the early Jewish concept of God allowed for a plurality within the divine unity, which was then "confirmed true" in the person of Jesus.
    • Traditional Jewish Perspective: Mainstream Jewish theology rejects the Christian doctrine of the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus, viewing such interpretations as Christian interpolations or misinterpretations of Jewish mystical concepts. Some academic analyses of the Zohar suggest that its discussions on figures like the "blasphemer" (Leviticus 24:10–23) are actually anti-Gospel polemics that use the story to challenge Christian claims about Jesus and Mary.
The Zohar itself does not "bear witness" in the sense of an explicit endorsement of Christian belief in Jesus as the Son of God, but its complex mystical language has led to ongoing diverse interpretations and debate across different faith traditions.
8.  However, the religious cult known as Christian Kabbalists believe Jesus is referenced and foreshadowed in the Zohar and other Jewish mystical texts, interpreting Zoharic concepts like the Messiah Son of JosephAdam Kadmon, and divine names as allusions to Christian theology, though traditional Jewish sources within the Zohar actually contain anti-Christian polemics, making these interpretations a specific Christian reading of Jewish texts. They (THE CHRISTIAN KABBALIST) use parallels in order to find proofs for the Trinity, Holy Spirit, and Jesus's divinity, seeing him as a mystical figure fulfilling prophecies found in these mystical works.
How Christian Kabbalists Interpret the Zohar
  • Finding Christian Concepts: Christian Kabbalists, like Renaissance thinkers and later figures, saw parallels between Zoharic themes (like the Sefirot, divine emanations) and Christian doctrines, believing the Zohar pointed to Jesus as the Messiah.
  • Messiah Son of Joseph: They connect the Zohar's discussion of the suffering Messiah (Messiah Son of Joseph) to Jesus, viewing him as the one who atones for sins, say First Fruits of Zion.
  • Mystical Names: Figures like Johann Reuchlin tried to derive the name of Jesus (Yahshuah) from the Tetragrammaton (YHWH) within Kabbalistic frameworks, as noted in the Wikipedia article on Christian Kabbalah.
The Zohar's Original Jewish Context,.
  • Internal Polemics: The Zohar, a foundational text of Jewish mysticism, actually contains internal anti-Christian polemics, including negative depictions of Jesus and Mary, notes Cambridge University Press.
  • Separate Traditions: Kabbalah developed within Judaism, and traditional Jewish Kabbalah doesn't mention Jesus as the Messiah, as per Quora users.
In essence, Christian Kabbalists interpret the Zohar to find Jesus, while the text itself, written by Jewish mystics, often holds a different, even hostile, view of Jesus, say Quora users and Cambridge University Press.
9. Despite these critiques, supporters like Jose Bernal a member of Jonathan Cahn's church and a self proclaimed apologist and historian (who to this day has not provided any credentials from any University or Theological seminary to substantiate his claims  ) mistakenly argues in his book 'THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HARBINGER" believes that Cahn’s work is a vital "prophetic warning" intended to call a drifting nation back to God through repentance along with the book's fallacies.
It is advisable for Mr. Jonathan Cahn and any other staff member within his ministry who are in possesion of these OCCULTIC WORKS OF LITERATURE( i.e. Mr. JOSE J. BERNAL THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK: THE TRUTH ABOUT THE HARBINGER- RELEASE DATE OCT 1, 2013) to follow the example of the EPHESIANS in ACTS 19:19 and burn your occultic books in a BONFIRE instead of trying to justify your heretical doctrines in the name of APOLOGETICS. Galatians 5: 19 "FOR THE WORKS OF THE FLESH ARE WELL KNOWN.....VERSE 20....HERESIES.....VERSE 21.....AS I HAVE TOLD YOU BEFORE AND I SAY TO YOU NOW, THOSE WHO PRACTICE SUCH THINGS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
The Bible explicitly warns us that in the last days, many false teachers and prophets will arise to deceive people with distorted truths, leading some to abandon the faith. These false teachers are described as wolves in sheep's clothing who promote selfish, immoral, or demonic doctrines, including those focusing on legalism or worldly pleasure rather than biblical holiness cf with 2nd Peter 2: 1-2.
Christians need to distance themselves at all cost from Rabbinical writings (such as the Zohar, Talmud and Mishnah) primarily because of theological, historical, and soteriological (salvation-related) differences.
Here are the key reasons :
  • Fulfillment of the Law: Christianity teaches that Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic Law, meaning Christians are not under the Law of Moses, which constitutes the basis of Rabbinic interpretation.
  • The New Covenant vs. The Old: Rabbinic literature represents a system that continued after the Old Covenant was superseded by the New Covenant brought by Christ.
  • Theology Regarding Jesus: Rabbinic texts, including the Talmud,  contain critical or negative views of Jesus, often referred to in historical, anti-gospel contexts.
  • Contradiction of Core Doctrines: Judaism often rejects the Trinity and Incarnation, viewing them as contradictory to the Hebrew Bible's emphasis on a singular God.
  • Authority of Scripture: In some viewpoints, the Talmud is elevated to a position of superiority over the Hebrew Scriptures or Torah (O.T.) themselves. This is what their Rabbis and Talmudic scholars teach their congregants.
  • Different Historical Context: Modern Rabbinic Judaism developed after the destruction of the Second Temple (70 AD) and is not identical to the Judaism practiced in the time of Jesus.
  • Salvation by Grace: The core Christian doctrine of salvation by grace through faith differs from systems based on Law obedience (Torah), which is a focus of Rabbinic study.
While some Christians mistakenly study Rabbinic literature to understand the historical context of Jesus, the prevailing view in the provided text is that following these writings can lead to abandoning the doctrine of salvation through faith alone, by grace alone, and in Christ alone!
10. In conclusion, Cahn's claims of unlocking profound new mysteries or specific templates can inadvertently imply that the existing Scriptures is insufficient or unclear without his so called unique prophetic insights. His emphasis often appears to be on finding precise, hidden patterns and timing, which overshadows the primary purpose of biblical prophecy which is a call to repentance and to reveal God's character.
According to the Sacred Text, the usage of MYSTERY is not a puzzle or a secret knowledge or wisdom that leaves a person in ignorance, but a truth that God reveals to man. It usually refers to something that man would not normally know, but that God in his grace makes known to him cf: Ephesians 3:4-5, Col 1:26, Rev 17:17.
They are secret counsels which govern God in dealing with the righteous, which are hidden from ungodly and wicked men but plain to the godly.
Be extremely cautious of so called ANCIENT MYSTERIES and mystical biblical interpretations that rely on intricate hidden codes, numerology, or complex, speculative connections not explicitly taught in Scripture!

Debunking Jonathan Cahn Simplified: A Comprehensive Critique.

In today's fast-paced world, many are searching for spiritual understanding, especially concerning prophecy and God's plans for the future. Jonathan Cahn has become a prominent voice, captivating a wide Christian audience with his interpretations of prophecy, particularly those connecting ancient biblical events to modern American happenings. His books, like The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah, present detailed, often intricate, allegorical links between ancient Israel and the United States today. While many find his insights deeply intriguing and believe they reveal hidden truths, others—especially biblical scholars and traditional Christian theologians—have raised significant questions about the accuracy and reliability of his interpretations.

In this 2nd Edition, our main goal is to make a careful critique of Jonathan Cahn’s popular teachings even easier to understand and apply. Leveraging cutting-edge AI tools, we've distilled complex theological ideas, historical analyses, and logical arguments into clear, accessible language, designed for every reader – no prior expertise needed.

This book simplifies the discussion by respectfully and thoroughly examining Cahn's worldview. We break down his arguments step-by-step, starting with his origins and core beliefs. You'll find clear explanations of his background, what he fundamentally teaches, and the specific influences that shape his prophetic vision.

We then move to the crucial part: clearly identifying and explaining the areas where his interpretations might fall short. Cahn's work is rich with symbolic interpretations, drawing strong parallels between ancient prophecy and contemporary events. However, critics argue he often steps into speculative territory, stretching sound biblical interpretation and leaning towards sensationalism. These aren't minor issues; they touch upon vital aspects of Christian faith: how we genuinely understand Scripture, how we discern truth from mere speculation, and how we avoid being misled by teachings that lack solid grounding.

Instead of dense academic language, we'll offer straightforward explanations of factual errors, logical fallacies (common reasoning mistakes), and cognitive biases (mental shortcuts) that appear in his work. Our aim is to untangle these complexities, making it simple to see how his ideas measure up against sound biblical truth and real-world facts.

Crucially, this critique isn't just about pointing out problems. It's about providing simplified, practical Christian solutions. We'll compare Cahn's interpretations with traditional Christian doctrines, offering clear biblical responses to his claims. Our hope is to equip you with easy-to-grasp tools for discernment – helping you to distinguish truth from error with confidence, and guiding you back to the unshakable authority of God's Word.

This book does not seek to attack Jonathan Cahn personally. Instead, it aims to address the problematic aspects of his teachings with clarity and compassion. This 2nd Edition, with its enhanced clarity and simplified approach, is designed to strengthen your faith, help you navigate complex prophetic claims, and guide you back to a more solid biblical foundation. In a time when prophetic voices abound, understanding them clearly and discerning their message Biblically is vital. This book makes that process more accessible than ever before.

ABOUT THIS  BOOK

DEBUNKING JONATHAN CAHN

BOOK 3

HERE'S THE LINK

ON AMAZON

Jonathan Cahn's The Harbinger and its sequel, The Harbinger II: The Return, have captivated a wide audience by presenting dramatic claims of prophetic connections between ancient Israel's history and contemporary events in America. These works suggest that America's national trajectory mirrors the biblical narrative of Israel, with ominous warnings of divine judgment. While intriguing, these claims demand careful scrutiny. Are they rooted in sound theology, historical accuracy, and biblical interpretation? Or do they represent a sensationalized misapplication of scripture that risks distorting its core messages?

This book, Debunking Jonathan Cahn - 3: A Comprehensive Critique of "The Harbingers," is a systematic exploration and critique of the theological, historical, and contextual assumptions underpinning Cahn's claims. Divided into three parts, the book addresses the key arguments presented in The Harbinger and The Harbinger II: The Return, providing a balanced yet critical analysis to help readers discern between faithful interpretation and speculative theology.

Part One delves into The Harbinger I, examining its eight central claims, or "harbingers," which purport to draw parallels between ancient Israel's covenantal breaches and events such as the 9/11 attacks and America's subsequent actions. These include the Breach, the Terrorist, the Fallen Bricks, the Tower, the Gazit Stone, the Sycamore, the Erez Tree, and the Prophetic Sign. Each chapter critiques these harbingers, highlighting where they rely on faulty hermeneutics, misapplied symbolism, or historical inaccuracies. A synthetic analysis concludes this section, addressing the overarching themes and implications of The Harbinger's narrative.

Part Two transitions to The Harbinger II: The Return, which expands upon the original work with ten additional "harbingers." These include the Watchmen, the Gate, the Mystery Ship, the Word in the Ruins, the Book of Days, the Image, the Judgment Tree, the Children of the Ruins, the Convergence, and the Handwriting on the Wall. This section evaluates the theological and prophetic claims of The Harbinger II, questioning the validity of its expanded narrative and its implications for understanding America's moral and spiritual condition. As with Part One, the section concludes with a synthetic analysis that integrates the key critiques and themes.

Part Three offers a systematic analysis of both works, focusing on their shared errors and theological implications. It identifies key missteps in Cahn's approach, including faulty hermeneutics, historical misrepresentations, and misunderstandings of biblical warnings and repentance. This section also emphasizes the importance of contextual interpretation, urging readers to engage with scripture faithfully and critically. Finally, it highlights the dangers of speculative theology and sensationalism, warning against narratives that may captivate audiences but lack biblical grounding.

This critique is not intended to dismiss the value of engaging with prophetic themes or calling nations to moral accountability. However, it seeks to ensure that such endeavors are rooted in sound theology and respectful interpretation of scripture. The Harbinger series, while popular, raises significant concerns about the ways in which biblical texts are employed to construct dramatic narratives that may distort the Bible's message and purpose. By addressing these concerns, this book aims to provide readers with tools for discerning faithful biblical interpretation and understanding the proper use of scripture in addressing contemporary issues.

We live in a time when false teachings are infiltrating Christian Theology at a rapid rate. This important book exposes one of the greatest threats to pure Biblical Christianity. Deanne Loper uncovers the deception by giving a detailed description of what Kabbalah is and equips believers to recognize it in its morphed form of Christianity. The evidence shows that the god of today’s Babylonian and kabbalistic Judaism is NOT the God of the Bible and that the current convergence of Christians coming under rabbinic authority will bring them, not to the one true God of the Bible, but to the subservience of the god of Kabbalah – Ein Sof – and to its hierarchy of gods.

ABOUT THIS BOOK

In this scholarly and deeply considered work, the author documents his provocative thesis that Rabbinical Judaism and their writings is not the religion of the Old Testament, but the newly formalized belief system of the Pharisees, which arose in Babylon with the commitment of the formerly oral “tradition of the elders” to writing, in the wake of the crucifixion of Israel’s Messiah and the destruction of the Temple. Basing his findings on authoritative Judaic sources, Hoffman demonstrates that  Rabbinical Judaism is a man-made religion of tradition and superstition, which represents the institutionalized nullification of Biblical law and doctrine. Liberating the reader from the accumulated shackles of decades of misinformation, this book shows that Judaism’s God is not the God of Israel, but the strange gods of  the Babylonian Talmud and Kabbalah/Zohar, and the racial self-worship they inculcate. Making a relentless case with massive documentation and a lapidary attention to detail, Judaism’s Strange Gods constitutes a shocking and original revelation about a subject we thought we knew only too well.

Why do Jews read it for spiritual guidance? Is it spiritually dangerous and does it contradict the Bible?

Why they use the race card to

falsely accuse us of being Anti-Semitic

  1. THE FOLLOWING ARE SOME BASELESS ACCUSATIONS THAT JOSE J. BERNAL IS USING AGAINST ME AS A PLOY TO DETER ME FROM SHARING THE TRUTH ABOUT THESE OCCULTIC WRITINGS I HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING ABOUT, MAINLY THE ZOHAR, THE BABYLONIAN TALMUD, & OTHER RABBINICAL WRITING which he and Jonathan Cahn have been using for years to supplement their doctrines & apologetics.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JEWISH HATRED OR ANTI-SEMITICISM. ON THE CONTRARY MY CONTENTION FROM THE VERY BEGINING HAS BEEN THAT ANY CHRISTIAN WHO DEFERS TO THE RABBINICAL WRITINGS( EXEGESIS) OF THE RABBIS FOR A PURER UNDERSTANDING OF THE OLD TESTAMENT IS TRAFFICKING IN BABYLONIAN PAGANISM AND DABBLING WITH THE OCCULT.

THESE ARE THE FALSE ALLEGATIONS JOSE J. BERNAL HAS MADE AGAINST ME :

" The rantings of another lunatic, who in the face of facts, chooses instead to stare at his own navel and say, “Where’s the beef!” (DEAR READER USE YOUR IMAGINATION SO THAT YOU MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MAN IS IMPLYING HERE). ” This is why you are an Anti-Semite, because as your writing shows, you impute sin exclusively to Jews and not to yourself or anypone else, except those who idsagree with you. The man you write about above is a rabid Anti-Semite and he has poisoned your mind and prejudiced your opinion about Jews in general and Israel in particular”. “you have just been discovered for what you are. an anti-semitic hater of the jewish people, and anyone who hates jews is accursed, according to god’s word in genesis 12″. “Ted W. Pike is a rabid Anti-Semite and Jew-hater, who has attacked the Jewish people and Judaism, and has been cited by the Anti-Defamation League as a dangerous demogogue and Anti-Semite. Your use of his literature here speaks volumes about you”. “this is a copied and paste spam of virilent anti-semitic bilge and has absolutely nothing to do with either the harbinger or the truth about the harbinger. i have repeatedly said and so has jonathan cahn, that neither he or i believe in the talmud, the book of zohar, the teachings of the kaballah based on these, but have proved from them that even they show that jesus is the messiah. i and others here have repeatedly explained this to you, but you continue to copy and paste this absurd bilge”. “You just exposed yourself as a rabid Jew-hating Anti-Semite. Those who hate Jews cannot love Christ, because He is the King of the Jews, and King of Kings and Lord of Lords”. JOSE J. BERNAL MALIGNING OTHER MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL AND THEIR MINISTRIES: David James, T.A. McMahon, Brannon Howse, Jimmy DeYoung, et al; are today’s version of a cult within the body of Christ, put there to discredit legitimate ministries, and destroy the lives, service, and livelihood of God’s servants. I am convinced of this, inasmuch as these people have misappropriated the good work of Christian Apologetics and have added to it Gossip, Innuendo, Guilt by Association, Misrepresentation, Libel, Slander, Bearing False Witness against another, Speaking Evil of other Christians, Lying in wait to stalk specific Christians of their choosing to find fault – as they’re doing with Jonathan Cahn for over a year and a half – and wholesale acts and behavior unbecoming of people who are supposed to be ambassadors of Christ – all under the umbrella of “Discernment” – which is a twisting of 1Corinthians 12:10 and misapplication of the sign gift of the Holy Spirit imparted to believers to discern spirits – not get into months long tirades against servants of God, and stalking legitimate ministers (such as Jonathan Cahn) to find fault and write about in order to discredit and destroy such ministries" end of qoute.

AND THESE ARE THE KIND OF PEOPLE JONATHAN CAHN HAS WORKING FOR HIM IN HIS MINISTRY?

  2. To Jose: You expect me and others to believe your comments and take it at face value from a professing christian like yourself who endorses and lists as his favorite books THE ZOHAR, THE JEWISH TALMUD & other RABBINICAL WRITINGS which are cultic writings from a cultic religion like ORTHODOX JUDAISM which you mentioned on your blog ? DING DING DING DING! SURPRISE, SURPRISE. Sorry BUD, that is not gonna fly. Any professing christian who enjoys reading these heretical documents is DABBLING WITH THE OCCULT.

This is an excerpt taken from Mr. Jose J. Bernal's website: avoiceincyberspace.blogspot.co.uk under his profile as follows:

FAVORITE BOOKS: the Bible, THE TALMUD, THE ZOHAR, the Targums, RABBINICAL WRITINGS, Flavious Josephus, Eusebius Ecclesiastical History, Jesus was a Jew, in the Footsteps of the Messiah, New Testament History, The History of Jewish Christianity, some technical books on computer and networks; too many to name here.

THE CULTIC WRITINGS IN HIS ARSENAL OF LITERATURE HAVE BEEN CAPITALIZED IN ORDER TO ADD EMPHASIS AND SUBSTANTIATE THE FACT THAT AMONG HIS FAVORITE BOOKS WHICH HE READS, THESE ARE BY BIBILICAL DEFINITION CONSIDERED CULTIC.

Galatians 5: 19: "Now the works of the flesh are evident.....VERSE 20: HERESIES......VERSE 21: those who PRACTICE such things, WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

If YOU want to put your eternal destiny on the line, that's between YOU & THE LORD.

  3. SOME HELPFUL INFORMATION ABOUT MR. JOSE BERNAL'S BACKGROUND TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM HIS BLOG:

Jose Bernal is a graduate from Etek Academy where he completed courses CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +/CCNA Track, and is CompTia A+ and Network + certified. Certificate Earned in Client/Server Administration at Synergistic Academy, is a graduate of NEC Rets where he graduated a two year intensive course in EET (Electronics Engineering Technology); has completed courses in various technologies such as Microsoft Official Course 2261B Supporting Users Running the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System at New Horizon Academy, Completed courses at Johnson Controls on Pegasys 900, Pegasys 1000, Pegasys 1500, and Pegasys 2000 Software for Cardkey Security Access Systems, as well as Executone Information Systems advance courses on several of their premier nurse call systems. Mr. Bernal has worked on surface mounted minitiarized components, and has integrated Servers with HVAC and security subsystems at various locations in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusettes.

ON TUESDAY JAN 21, 2014 ON AN ARTICLE WHICH MR. BERNAL POSTED ON HIS BLOG:
"A HARBINGER OF WHAT IS COMING: AMBULANCE CHASING HERESY HUNTERS" MR. BERNAL MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT AND I QUOTE:

"I have always enjoyed the field of Christian Apologetics, because it compelled me to search the Scriptures and study them thoroughly for its treasures of truth. And I remember as a young believer in the 70s reading a copy of the late Walter Martin’s classic bestseller, The Kingdom of the Cults, a real treasure. I devoured that book from cover to cover, learning the differences between what the cults taught versus what the Scriptures taught side by side." "So I wish to make it clear here that what I am about to write in this update to my article, I want the reader to understand that I write also as an apologist"....

You may be asking what is my point? My point is Mr. Bernal has made exaggerated claims that he is a HISTORIAN AND AN APOLOGIST! Up until now he has not provided any credentials substantiating the above claims FROM ANY THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY/University/College. According to his profile, at best he is nothing more than a biblical instructor/Sunday school teacher for Mr. Cahn's "ARISE AND SHINE ACADEMY". If in fact he is a historian and an apologist as he claims, I challenge him to produce those credentials here or on his blog for all the world to see. If he doesn't, then his claims are not legitimate or verifiable and whatever he writes on his blog needs to be carefully scrutinized.

  5. In the words of Ted Winston Pike with regards to the TRUE DEFINITION OF ANTI-SEMITISM I QUOTE MR. PIKE:

“ANTI-SEMITISM IS THE RACISTIC BELIEF THAT JEWS ARE, BY VIRTUE OF BIRTH, DEGENERATE, GRASPING, OR SUBVERSIVE. THE TERM HOWEVER, IS ERRONEOUSLY APPLIED TO THOSE WHO CRITICIZE THE BEHAVIOR OF JEWS OR THE STATE OF ISRAEL” page 336 from Mr. Pike’s book ISRAEL OUR DUTY OUR DILEMMA.
